Happy New Year everyone! Much of 2014 was living into some of the changes that began in 2013. Pastors John and Theresa started their first year as Co-pastors. Pastor John went on sabbatical over the summer. We welcomed two new staff members: organist, Steve Ketterer and office coordinator, Mark McBeth.
You all have continued to serve our neighborhood through the Harvest Food Pantry every Saturday; welcomed visitors and families in worship; prayed for one another in sickness, transitions, and in health.
In 2015, you may notice some updated changes and improvements in the church building. We continue to move forward in acquiring new pews. Some of the Johnson & Sons organ pipes will be reworked and replaced. New lighting in the sanctuary will begin as well as repairs to one of our stained glass windows. The compassion team has identified some mission priorities as opportunities for us to participate, support, and engage.
What makes St. John’s a blessing is you! Your input, commitment, service, and passion to the ways St. John’s lives out God’s call has your heart and fingerprints all over it.
Blessings to you all as we continue to live faithfully, patiently, and compassionately.
Pastors, John and Theresa
